How wonderful to see that they are still doing this. I was privileged to be part of this for 8 years, as the assistant to the F&B Director. I took all the reservations and it was so great to talk to all the people and after doing it for so many years I would talk over and over to the same people that loved our Holiday Buffets and would come back every year to both the Thanksgiving and Christmas. I designed and made the holiday menus, as well as being one of the hostesses seating the guests, which gave me the chance to put faces to the people I made reservations for which was so nice. The food was awesome and the way we decorated the hotel for these buffets as well as the holidays was so beautiful. I wish I still lived in Daytona Beach, as I would love to come and be part of this Thanksgiving tradition, but as a guest this time.
